In the middle of making the switch. I ordered a new xha1 sat form b&h. all the research tells me this is the way to go in outdoor video. 20x zoom, flip out viewfinder, and the best low light available (that sounds funny considering it's a canon!). How about you JT, what you using? BTW, I've got an xl1 for sale. i'm gonna try to post some pics this week. email me if anyone is interested

XHA1
The XHA1 is a great HD camera. We used ours last year and got some great fotage on turkeys with it. We have a DVD coming out in the next few weeks called "KILL ZONE OUTDOORS IN THE STRUT ZONE". If you get one I would deffinatly have it insured though. The insurance is cheap and after a year of hunting it needed cleaned bad and that runs around $500.
But you can not beat HD, we are planning on buying another Handy Cam HD for this season. |

RE: HD Cameras
I\'ve been shooting the XLH1a for 1 1/2 years now. Its a good camera, but hard to run and shoot at the sametime...
