Cut for GNCC Friction Division

I believe there are 28 callers in this years GNCC Friction Division and with the ever increasing popularity of friction calling, this number will most likely increase in the future. If this number does continue to increase, do you guys think we should have a cut for this division like there is at worlds...if so, at what number of callers should there be before a cut is established? What are your thoughts on some of the benefits and drawbacks of having a cut? I know that this decision isn't necessarily up to us, but wanted to generate some discussion and hear the opinions of some more experienced callers.

Yes there needs to be a cut, I say top 10-12 CALLERS (not scores) and defending Grand National and World champions.

O.K.,....I know it's always been customary,....but why the "Worlds" champ,....what does that contest have to do with the GNCC?? Why not the U.S. Open Champ, and The Mid America's and The Grand America's ....??????? Never really could figure that one out.

I would assume because the World gives the GNCC champ a bye. Also this past year @ the U.S. Open, the friction division was not titled U.S. Open friction, it was called something else even though it took place at that contest.
