Field Testing the Lost River Game Calls - Pro Crow Call
We have been testing out a call that the guys at Lost River Game Calls sent us this year. They produce a "locater" call for turkeys that seems to really attract the crows. I placed the "Pro Crow" call in Pro Staff member Gary Gabbards hands to practice with just before crow season and he has been ripping up the skies with it in the field. Last weekend we hunted a favorite spot for crows and successfully bagged 137 crows on saturday and 36 on sunday.
The call has a loud, nasty sound that cannot be resisted by the birds. It's deep, raspy notes are extremely effective with the "come here" call as well as moanin out some "cries" that are irresistible to them. Please check out the tested page on Ded Crow.com for some feedback and pictures of the call as well as other pics of its success.
