Woody and I showcased the Beavertail Comfort Zone Layout Blinds in 2003 at the Cystic Fibrosis "Liv's Calling For A Cure" Open Goose Calling Championship/Waterfowl Hunt in Northern Chicago. We teamed up with "Big R" Randy Laneave from Kentucky and John Schneider from Libertyville, Illinois in a stubble field that was donated for 1 day only to hunt Geese for the Cystic Fibrosis Event. The temperatures were in the lower 30's to upper 20's with a stiff cold wind at our backs making the hunt a challenge for any layout blind. We added natural foiliage from the grass located in our setup area using minimal coverage to achieve the concelament needed for wary Canada's. The Comfort Zones design features allowed Woody and I to remain cozy in the wind......were that comment wasn't heard from the other brand blinds used in the hunt. The flagging slots along with the padded areas were you would need them the most made the blinds so comfortable that I caught Woody dozing off several times. I would give the Beavertail Comfort Zone a 2 Thumbs Up for the Features and Raesonable Price to the Consumer. It isn't often you can feel assured that when you chuck out the cashola for a blind that you will use for protection as well as concealment.....you money was well spent.
