Mallard's Pics and Comments
Coming Soon!

Camoclad is owned and operated by Joe Warner. Every now and then some-one comes up with an idea that is unsurpassed by any knock-offs. Camoclad is a vinyl rubbery-like material that is great looking and DAMN durable! I decided to go with the Wetlands accent kit and adding a little something to it with 1 aditional full sheet. Mallard's Suburban was TOTALY covered with Realtree Hardwoods Snow. Camoclad is perfect for new vehicles, you can apply it and when ya want to take if off later, the vehicle will still look the same.

Applying the accent kit was a snap! The accent kits come in pre-cut strips according to the size you chose. They are applied the same as the full sheets shown on the left.

After I got the accent kit on both rocker, I then began my addition. I took 1 full sheet and split it horizontally dividing the sheet into 2 equal parts. I used one for each rear panel. I lined up the sheet like I wanted it and taped the edges about 6 inches down on each side holding it to the truck. I then alowed the sheet to flip back, exposing the backing. I peeled the vinyl off the backing and allowed it to hang. I then carefully cut the backing off the top half and proceeded to smooth out the vinyl with the provided spreader. Once you have the top half of the sheet down.................it's smooth sailing from there on. Just slowly peel the backing away 3-4 inches at a time and smooth with the spreader until you get to the end.

On certain rounds and corners, you might have to make relief cuts in it to move it where you want it......................don't worry, the seams are virtually invisible due to the camo pattern.

The durability of Camoclad is unbelievable! It will withstand scratches from brush like you have never seen. It's like shrink-wrapping your truck!

As an automotive refinish technician, I can tell ya one thing..................It's damn cheaper than a paintjob!
